It was at Quaglino’s in the summer of 1994, that the first Podge lunch was held. Marcelo Minale, Aziz Cami, Brian Webb, Erik Spiekermann and Alan Fletcher were among the 30 guests gathered in Mayfair at the invitation of Podge’s Founder, Chairman and Lifeblood Phil Jones.
24 years later, Podge has grown arms and legs and applied for a passport. Agencies have come and gone. We’ve lost dear friends. Yet the recipe for Podge remains the same: compadres and rivals taking time to share an abiding love of design over good food and good wine.
